O final de semana passado foi movimentado para o Rick. Foram três shows, em três dias seguidos, em três cidades diferentes, de três estados diferentes!

Sexta-feira (22/02), em Riverside, Iowa (USA). Sábado (23/02), em Dearborn, Michigan (USA). Domingo (24/02), em Lancaster, Pennsylvania (USA).

Haja energia, mas isso não é problema para ele, que está cada vez melhor!

No final de semana passado foi a vez de Nashville, no Tennessee (USA). Foram dois shows, nos dias 15/02 (sexta-feira) e 16/02 (sábado). E, como sempre, o Rick foi perfeito!

É absolutamente inevitável dizer... Ah, como eu queria estar lá! Hehe!

Esta, provavelmente, é uma das primeiras músicas compostas por Rick. Vejam o que ele próprio diz sobre ela:

- É apenas uma música que escrevi porque minha mãe disse "porque você não escreve uma canção feliz, filho?" Eu havia escrito coisas sobre suicídio e triângulos amorosos, então escrevi uma canção feliz. (1984, em entrevista para uma rádio)

- Eu tinha 17 anos quando a escrevi. Acho que eu tinha uma tendência musical country... (2000, durante um show em Milwaukee, USA)

Speak To The Sky foi o primeiro single do Rick em carreira solo. Anteriormente, ele participou de uma banda australiana chamada Zoot, que é um assunto para um outro post.

Mission: Magic! é um desenho animado criado em 1973 e transmitido para centenas de países ao redor do mundo, entre eles, o Brasil. Missão Mágica passou por aqui entre meados de 1974 e 1975, sendo reapresentado em canais diferentes até o início dos anos 80.
